The VEWERK 8227 Zirconium Flap Discs (40 Grit) are designed for fast, aggressive material removal on metal surfaces where productivity and durability matter. Supplied as a pack of 10, these Type 29 (angled) flap discs are ideal for heavy grinding, weld removal, edge preparation and surface blending.

Manufactured using zirconium abrasive grain, the discs deliver a longer service life and cooler grinding performance compared to standard aluminium oxide abrasives. This makes them particularly effective on steel, mild steel and other ferrous metals, especially during demanding applications.

With a 115mm diameter and 22.2mm bore, these flap discs are compatible with most standard 4½″ angle grinders. Rated for speeds up to 13,300 RPM (80 m/s) and compliant with EN 13743, they offer a reliable and safe solution for workshop, fabrication and site use.
